About Department
Physics is the mother of engineering. All frontier areas of research in physics such as material science, nanotechnology, solid state physics, computational physics, electrodynamics, quantum optics, quantum computing, laser physics, classical mechanics etc., finds application in various disciplines of engineering. Being a parent department, the department of physics ensures that students have strong foundation before they branch out into their respective major departments. A team of dedicative faculty make the teaching learning process, a pleasant and purposeful one.
