At the outset all the graduates will be actively engaged in a professional career as a civil engineer or pursuing advanced study.  They will understand professional practice issues and demonstrate a commitment to professional licensure and continuing education.  They also perched by the morels and the principles of sustainable development and global interconnectedness, which make them to understand how civil engineering projects affect or effects the society and the environment.


  1. An ability to apply knowledge of computing, mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and Civil Engineering theory in design of computer-based systems to real-world problems
  2. The ability to practice civil engineering using up-to-date techniques, skills, and tools as a result of life-long learning ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyse and interpret data.
  3. An ability to design, implement, and evaluate a field program to meet desired needs, within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
  4. An ability to analyse a problem, and identify, formulate and use the appropriate computing and civil engineering requirements for obtaining its solution.
  5. An understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities.
  6. An ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally
  7. The broad education necessary to analyse the local and global impact of computing and engineering solutions on individuals, organizations, and society.
  8. A  Recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in continuing professional development and life-long learning.
  9. An ability to use current techniques, skills, and tools necessary for computing and engineering practice.
  10. An ability to recognize the importance of civil Engineering professional development by pursuing postgraduate studies or face competitive examinations that offer challenging and rewarding careers in computing.


  1. The Graduates of this Programme with proficiency in mathematics and physical sciences will excel in the core areas of Civil Engineering such as Structural, Environmental and Water Resources Engineering.
  2. The graduates will plan, produce detailed drawings, write specification, and prepare cost estimates.
  3. The graduates will interact with stakeholders effectively and execute quality construction work applying necessary tools.
